Research Methods Short Courses 2009/10

The 2009/10 series of Research Methods courses, run in partnership with Government Social Research Unit as part of the MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, can also be taken as stand-alone courses as part of the continuing professional development.

Places are still available on some of the Institute of Education courses run in partnership with the Government Social Research Unit (GSRU). They form part of the MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, but can also be taken as stand-alone courses towards continuing professional development.

Courses running up to Christmas 2009 include:

• Review of statistical concepts and methods, 23-24 Sept 2009
• Methods of data analysis: 14-15 Oct 2009
• Multivariate analyses: 10-11 Nov 2009
• Research for policy and in government 17-18 November 2009
• Factor analysis, PCA and cluster analysis 8-9 Dec 2009
