Description

The survey content was strongly focused on educational experiences, but was also broadened, to reflect the age of the cohort member, to include early labour market experiences and economic circumstances, as well as aspects of family formation, risky-, crime- and anti-social behaviours, health and wellbeing.

Interviews were conducted face-to-face, and parents were also interviewed as well as cohort members.

Only those who participated at the previous sweep were included in the issued sample for the current sweep.

The study was funded and managed by the Department for Education (DfE) at Sweep 4.
