Following the success of the International Conference on Child Cohort Studies earlier this month, CLS have launched an International Zone on their website.

Following the success of the International Conference on Child Cohort Studies earlier this month, CLS have launched an International Zone on their website. The conference brought together individuals from across the globe who are involved in designing, conducting and analysing large-scale cohort studies of children born in the two decades before and after 2000.

At CLS we believe it is important that we continue the international dialogue that was started at the conference. Sharing knowledge and experience will help those working in this area to realise the full potential of their studies. In addition to opening up the channels of communication, it is also hoped that this zone will increase awareness of just how many studies there are throughout the world, all working for the same goal – to gather and analyse longitudinal data in order to help make a better life for future generations.

We are still in the early stages of this exercise but we hope to add more cohort studies to this zone over the next few months. For further information and details on how to feature your study in the International Zone, go to www.cls.ioe.ac.uk/international-zone.
