Data from the National Child Development Study have enabled researchers to produce four new studies.
Data from the National Child Development Study have enabled researchers to produce four new studies on single-sex schooling, the influence of families on children’s reading and maths skills, employment status and occupations in the 1990s, and hearing impairment in middle age.
The research reports are the latest additions to the Working Papers series published by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies. The new papers, which can be downloaded free of charge from the CLS website, are:
Michael, R. T. (2008) Children’s Reading and Math Skills: The Influence of Family Caring.
Ecob, R. (2008) Optimal modelling of hearing impairment in middle age in relation to hearing in childhood as measured by audiograms.
