Dr Orla McBride is a Reader in the School of Psychology, Ulster University, Northern Ireland. Orla was a member of the Scientific Leadership and Delivery Team and Northern Ireland Lead for the Early Life Cohort Feasibility Study (2021-24).
She is the Study Country Lead for Northern Ireland for Generation New Era.
Orla holds a PhD in Psychology (2008) and a Pg Diploma in Epidemiology (2025). Orla is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Orla is the postgraduate tutor in the School of Psychology at Ulster University, overseeing development of 60 PhD Researchers annually.
