Katie Thompson

Katie’s research integrates psychology, sociology, statistics, and genetics to advance understanding of mental health across the life course. At CLS, her work focuses on mapping the causal mechanisms through which sexism impacts young people’s mental health.

Katie gained her PhD at King’s College London which examined experiences of social isolation across development. Post-PhD, she worked as a Sociology Research Fellow at Purdue University in the US.
