Millennium Cohort Study Age 22 Sweep: Consultative Workshop

25 May 2021
Workshop

Over 50 stakeholders joined us for an interactive half-day event to help shape the content of the Millennium Cohort Study Age 22 Sweep. Participants attended themed discussion sessions to explore the key topics and questions to include in the next survey.

Workshop details

This interactive half-day event is an opportunity to help shape the content of the
Millennium Cohort Study Age 22 Sweep (Principal Investigator Prof. Emla Fitzsimons).

The aim of the Age 22 Sweep is to provide data for research and policy on the lives of this generation at an important milestone, on the cusp of maturation to adulthood, adding to the wealth of data already collected from the cohort during their formative years.

We ran an online consultation during February and March 2021 to help determine the content of the eighth MCS survey. This next phase will build on the input we received in response to the consultation, and will focus on key topics, questions and instruments to include in the sweep.

  • Education, learning and investment in skills, and employment transitions, economic circumstances, the nature of work
