Research Methods Short Course Programme launched

A series of Research Methods courses, run in partnership with Government Social Research Unit as part of the MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, can also be taken as stand-alone courses as part of the continuing professional development.

The Institute of Education run a series of courses in partnership with Government Social Research Unit, aimed at GSR members and other professionals working in government or related agencies. These courses form part of the MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, but can also be taken as stand-alone courses as part of continuing professional development.

The following courses will be running this term:

  • Review of statistical concepts and methods – 2 days, 17-18 Sept 2008
  • Methods of Data Analysis – 3 days, 6-8 Oct 2008
  • Sampling design and Practice – 2 days, 18-19 Nov 2008
  • Further multivariate data analysis – 3 days, 10-12 Dec 2008
