New Visiting Professor for CLS

Elizabeth Cooksey from Ohio State University will be visiting CLS several times over the forthcoming year.

Elizabeth Cooksey is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the Ohio State University (OSU), the Associate Director of OSU’s population center, and the Principal Investigator of the Child and Young Adult portions of the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979 (NLSY79). As an ESRC/SSRC Visiting Fellow Elizabeth will be visiting CLS several times over the next 12 months begining in September 2008. Whilst here she will be collaborating with Heather Joshi on research investigating the association between maternal employment and the cognitive and behavioral development of young children.
