This document describes the process by which polygenic indexes (PGIs) for 44 traits have been constructed in four UK longitudinal cohort studies: 1958 National Child Development Study (NCDS), 1970 British Cohort Study (BCS70), Millennium Cohort Study (MCS) and Next Steps.
