Our education data linkage programme brings together cohort study data and information from the National Pupil Database, Student Loans Company and other sources. Researchers can use these linked administrative education and survey datasets to explore the factors that can influence people’s educational trajectories and outcomes.
Here you can find out which linked education data are currently available by study, read our user guides and follow links to the UK Data Service or the SAIL Databank in Wales.
Important update on access arrangements
From July 2024, the linked education data will be made available via the ONS Secure Research Service and will cease to be accessible via the UK Data Service. Researchers currently accessing the data for projects which go beyond July will be able to complete their project.
