COVID-19
Dr Chao Fang works as a Research Fellow, conducting a longitudinal qualitative research project on long COVID. As part of the NHIR-UKRI funded Convalescence Long COVID Study, Chao will explore the lived experiences of long COVID of members from four CLS-based cohort studies (NCDS, BCS70, Next Steps and MCS). The research findings will be used to improve healthcare for long COVID patients.
Chao obtained his PhD in Sociology from the University of Bath in 2018. Prior to joining UCL, he worked as a Research Associate at the University of Bath on a qualitative project on older people’s loneliness between 2019-2021.
