Consultation on the content and design of an Early Life Cohort Feasibility study for the UK

10 Jun 2021
Workshop

This is a consultation organised by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies. We are seeking your input into the scientific direction and design of a new study, testing the feasibility of a new birth cohort study for the UK.

The feasibility study is led by Professors Pasco Fearon, Alissa Goodman, and Lisa Calderwood, in collaboration with an experienced group of co-investigators from across the UK.

Consultation details

The discussion in the morning will include break-out into scientific working groups. We would value your input in the scientific themes corresponding to your expertise. You will be asked to choose which two scientific themes you will join, when you register for the meeting.

In the afternoon, we will break-out into working groups again, this time about ensuring an inclusive cohort, and you will be asked to select one working group when you register. The afternoon will also entail plenary discussion on key features of the study design.
